Winning With Words will be delivered by Dr. Joseph Sommerville, the person whom many have come to know as The Master Presenter.

Dr. Sommerville shows professionals how to increase sales, visibility and credibility through more effective communication. Clients call his approach “street wise, results-driven and expertise based.” He is the author of Rainmaking Presentations, published by Palgrave Macmillan, as well as numerous articles on how to create more effective presentations for trade and professional journals. He educates television audiences on corporate communication issues in forums such as CNBC’s Smart Money and Channel News Asia. He has consulted extensively in the energy, healthcare, IT, financial and public service sectors.

His unique system for designing, developing and delivering powerful presentations is based on research from over 8,000 presentations. He has shown over 1500 participants from 25 countries how to create better presentations. He is known for his results-driven approach and facilitative style.

Dr. Sommerville received his AB from Wabash College and his MA and PhD from the University of Iowa. He has held academic positions at Wabash College, Indiana University, the University of Iowa, the Nanyang Business School, the School of Communication Studies at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and the MBA Program at Houston Baptist University.
