WZ Advanced Interview & Interrogation (22 Mar 2018)
Interrogation is not a game of chance but a series of calculated and strategic moves to ensure the greatest chance of success.
The most difficult subject is one who will not talk at all, and prolonging his confinement will only serve to increase the difficulty. Hence, the use of effective and legitimate persuasive techniques are necessary to get reluctant subjects to talk voluntarily and truthfully.
This 1-day workshop is an advance-level training. It builds on the foundational two-day WZ Non-Confrontational Interview & Interrogation program. Its focus are on techniques to deal with difficult subjects, how to handle denials and minimize verbal confrontation. You will learn various interview strategies to develop a structured approach for engaging difficult subjects.
Participants will learn methods to get suspects talking, obtained buy-in and ultimately secure commitment for a positive outcome.
You Will Learn How To:
- CREATE interview strategies based on case facts and subject's profile - RECOGNISE physical signs of defiance - OVERCOME different types of denials - UNCOVER motivation behind difficult subjects - AVOID difficulty during the interview - MAINTAIN subject’s and your composure - MINIMIZE verbal confrontation - FOCUS on getting a positive outcome - MANAGE difficult conversation with finesse - REMOVE fear factor in subjects - UNLOCK doors to open dialogues for meaningful conversation - MASTER the use of emblems, speed, tone and voice inflection for impact
